Migrations and upgrades — done without drama.
M1 to M2. M2 minor upgrades. Hyvä front-end migrations. Each one done with a written plan, a cost ceiling, and a cutover date you can put on the board — not "spring at the earliest."

IS THIS YOU?
- Still running Magento 1 and out of security cover.
- On Magento 2.3 or earlier and security patches are piling up.
- Want to move the front-end to Hyvä but the last estimate you got was a page of hedging.
- A previous migration attempt stalled or failed — and now nobody wants to touch it.
- You need a real plan and a real budget envelope before you can get internal buy-in.
WHAT WE DO
- Pre-migration audit. Extensions, customisations, data volumes, integrations, front-end debt. Written inventory before we quote anything.
- Migration plan. Sprint-level timeline, risks per module, cost ceiling. If we’re wrong on scope, we say so — we don’t bill you for our estimation errors.
- Data migration. Catalog, customers, orders, order history. Validated against source. Reconciliation report you can sign off on.
- Extension audit. Replace, rewrite, or drop — with rationale for each call.
- Hyvä theme migration (optional). Where the front-end return-on-effort is worth it — not because it’s trendy.
- Cutover & rollback plan. Parallel environment, staged cutover window, tested rollback. In writing before we cut.
- Stabilisation period. 30 or 60 days of dedicated post-launch attention, priced upfront.
HOW WE WORK
- Discovery. 30-minute call. What platform, what extensions, what integrations, what your deadline actually is.
- Audit. Fixed-fee audit sprint. 5–10 business days. Written inventory + preliminary scope.
- Plan & quote. Sprint plan, cost ceiling, cutover date. Reviewed with you on a call. No aspirational timelines.
- Build & cut. Weekly progress reviews, parallel env, staged cutover, stabilization.
WHAT YOU GET
- A written migration plan with defensible cost ranges you can take to your board.
- Data migration with reconciliation — no "just trust us" cutovers.
- An extension audit with keep/rewrite/drop calls and rationale.
- A cutover plan and a rollback plan, both in writing.
- A stabilisation period baked into the price, not billed as change orders.

Your questions and concerns, addressed
How long does an M1→M2 migration usually take?
Depends on extensions, data volume, and integrations. Small B2C stores: 8–12 weeks. Mid-market with 30+ extensions: 16–24 weeks. The audit narrows it before you commit.
Do you migrate data as well as code?
Yes. Catalog, customers, orders, order history — validated against source with a reconciliation report you sign off on.
What if some of my extensions don’t have M2 versions?
The audit surfaces those. Options per extension: replace with a supported alternative, rewrite in-house, or drop the feature. We give you a rationale per call.
Can we run M1 and M2 in parallel during cutover?
Yes. Parallel environment for validation, staged cutover window, tested rollback. All in writing before we cut.
What if the migration takes longer than the plan?
We commit to a cost ceiling in the migration plan. If we’re wrong on scope, we tell you and eat the estimation error — we don’t bill you for our mistakes.

HOW PRICING WORKS
Every migration starts with a fixed-fee audit sprint — you know upfront what the audit costs and what deliverables it produces. The full migration is scoped from that audit; you approve the plan and the ceiling before we cut any code.
A single rate regardless of role. Transparent breakdown: hours per module, extension by extension. No hidden "project management" lift.

The team has the ability to do what the customer imagines at a reasonable cost. Pushed us to go live sooner on certain tasks vs trying to get to the final product, but this is more my fault. The other one is the same for customers/ systems we have worked with, but make sure to set the same priorities constantly as we get too excited about new projects as a project management team (read full review)

FYB Romania is one of the very few we are still working with because we are happy with them FYB is our long term partner for offshore software development. They always provide help in all kinds of projects, such as ecommerce website development and support and also in creating new kinds of community portals, complex server setup and support. No project seems to be too big for them. (read full review)

They are very accurate, reliable, and helpful in sorting out and finding great solutions. We had various platforms for our webshops, first we migrate one of them on Magento 1 and then we agreed to migrate all of them on Magento multistore. a lot of work &meetings but all went well, we had to learn a lot also :) (read full review)
